Wow. If anything were to re-inspire me as an architect – this is it. Sure, its starchitecture, it says look at me – i’ll take one for the team. Massive concrete rubic diamond woven through with different colours and textures. Another building that is almost impossible to navigate level for level. Getting from one place to another is certainly a journey and the wayfinding is accordingly ‘pick-a-path’ style. The font used was created by a local designer and is a alteration to helvetica. One of my favourite aspects was the exposed plasterboard behind perforated screens revealing its basic constructional paint finish as a feature. But, I won’t tell you anymore – just go there!
