The Coney Island Fun Park was always a bit shady. Now its shady in an extreme ‘derelique’ fashion. A sudden cold snap on the afternoon we were there, combined with continual misty showers meant it was shadier, spookier and sadder. A slow fog descended over the park rendering it almost invisible from a distance, the pier seemed to disappear into the water. Some excellent photos ensued, the need to eat chilli cheese fries and marshmallow sticks, and some seriously chilled extremities. I must read Delirious in New York again.Click on any of the thumbnails below to view the images full size.
