Lisbon, Portugal
Data Sheet

We landed in Lisbon to be greeted by a sunny bright day, a cheerful, expensive cab ride and a ginjinha (yummy sour cherry port) in the square near our house. Basking in the warmth through the french doors in the bedroom of our excellent, typical little flat we had a siesta before heading out for dinner at a cheap local establishment perched precariously between two roads. Of all the city architecture I have seen so far, I find Lisbon’s the most naturally inspiring. I wonder whether their traditional use of tiles etc. has allowed their younger designers more liberty in decorating, such as P-06 Atelier and R2 Design.
